A Guide to Choosing A Location to Atlantic City Hotel
Atlantic City is a wonderful vacation spot. It has a beautiful shore, a world-renowned boardwalk and, of course, plenty of places to gamble. It also, of course, has many hotels. Where you should stay in Atlantic City has a lot to do with your budget, as well as what you intend to do while there.
Atlantic City Hotel Location Options:
There are many places around the city to find great hotels. Of course, there are the hotels on the famous boardwalk. There are also hotels near the airport. Northeast Atlantic City, downtown and beach resorts are also possibilities. Again, where you stay will depend greatly on you.
Seaside:
If you want to stay near the beach at Atlantic City, your rates will depend on the season. It's a very popular summer destination, so you're likely to find high rates at that time of year. On the other hand, staying at the beach during the off season would probably mean great discounts for you.
Gambling:
If you're going to Atlantic City to gamble, as many people do, you're likely to want to stay at one of the great casino hotels. There are many of them all over the city, but there's a high concentration of them on and near the boardwalk. So, that's most likely where you'll stay.
Of course, those hotels are likely to be expensive, but that doesn't mean you have to give up vacation plans. You can often get discounts by booking through a travel agent or booking rooms for a large group. Many casinos also offer discounts for children, seniors, government officials and frequent guests. So, there are even advantages to staying at the same hotel each time you go.
Events:
If you're planning a large event, like a wedding, you may also like to stay on the boardwalk. Many of those hotels offer packages for special occasions and have plenty of activities for guests. The Hilton Casino Hotel, Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel, Days Inn Boardwalk, Holiday Inn Boardwalk and Atlantic City's Howard Johnson Hotel are all hotels along the boardwalk that would be great for such occasions and events.
Central Location:
Many hotels are not necessarily right in the thick of things. However, there are hotels that are just around the corner from everything. Their great locations make them wonderful options. They include the Best Western Envoy Inn and the Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City.
Business Lodgings:
If you're a member of the business class, you may not have as much time as you'd like to see sights. Your concern is more likely to be staying near the airport. There's no need to be concerned about that, since there are so many great hotels right near the airport. They include Dr. Jonathan Pitney House, Comfort Inn North and the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa.
So, as you can see, there are many great places to stay in Atlantic City. Just be sure to book ahead, since hotels can fill up fast. Before you book, search online and talk to travel agents. Also, ask yourself what your needs are. That way, you'll be sure to find the best hotel for you at the best rate possible.
