Hostels Cheap Accommodation

Hostels and Cheap Accommodation in Florence

Florence is a beautiful city in Tuscany. And although it only has approximately 400, 000 citizens, it is a highly popular tourist destination as it features an exciting nightlife, wonderfully historic landmarks – Ponte Vecchio Bridge, Accademia Galleries – and of course, the wine that Tuscany is famous for. Wherever you decide to rest your head at while in Florence, rest assured there are many cheap hostels and fantastically cheap accommodation.

1) Central Beds on via XXV11 Aprile

This Cheap Hostel is warm, hospitable, and in the centre of Florence, making it a prime "home base" for tourists wanting to see the sights this city has to offer. One fabulous landmark within walking distance of the Central Beds is the Galleria Dell'Accademia where viewers can see the actual statue of David. At this cheap hostel, guests will enjoy their choice of single, double, or triple dorm rooms that include a great view of the Cathedral. And for those wishing to explore Florence further, the railway station is only a ten minute walk from this cheap accommodation. Of course, Central Beds has the usual hostel amenities, like television, bicycle rentals, room service, telephone, a lift, and internet access.

2) Dany House on via Bolognese

Only 15 minutes from downtown Florence, the cheap hostel, Dany House, will help you get around the city by booking tours for wine tastings, horseback riding, and the city of Florence itself. Breakfast at this cheap accommodation is free and dinner will be provided for a small price. And after you finish exploring all that Florence has to offer, you will want to come back to the Dany House as it has tons of amenities any traveler looking for cheap hostels will enjoy. As with most modern hostels, this one has free wi-fi, linens, maps, hairdryers, and close proximity to a supermarket, laundromat, and a bus stop. This cheap hostel does not have a lockout time or curfew, but does have a special room with books and a PlayStation!

3) Emerald Palace on via Poliziano

This is another hostel located near the Accademia Gallery. This clean, cheap hostel offers a special, exclusive one day bus tour that will take guests to an authentic Tuscan farmhouse, San Gimigano – a small city outside of Florence where one can taste wine – and the leaning tower of Pisa. However, if you are wanting to experience something on the thrilling side, ask the Emerald Palace about their sky diving trips. One you finish your whirlwind of day, you can go back to this Cheap Hostel and enjoy all of its wonderful amenities. For starters, internet access and free wi-fi, television, a reading light, hairdryer rental, ceiling fans and air conditioning are all included. Linens are included as well, but if you want extras, you can rent them for a small fee. Other fees charged are for bicycles and luggage storage. And these features are only the beginning of what you will enjoy when you stay at the Emerald Palace.

Nearest/Most accessible beach or lake to Dublin Airport?
I am going to be arriving in Dublin with a friend in June and will only be staying for 2 nights...I was thinking of skipping the average sightseeing and that maybe it would be best to just relax in a nearby beach. Would this be advisable? How's the weather like in June? If not, what are other enjoyable/relaxing things we could do to pass time while waiting for our flight 2 1/2 days later? Also, what is the closest beach (which town is it in?) to Dublin airport..also one with hostels/ cheap accommodation that my friend and I could stay in. Thanks!

I am planning a 3-6 month trip through Asia. Any tips, please?
I am planning a 3-6 month backpacking trip through Asia. Planning to live in hostels/cheap accommodation and visit as many places as possible. I was thinking to take with something like £3000, but I am not sure, if that would be enough for basic stuff. Any recommendations / tips? Any areas I should visit / avoid?
